Welcome to
Albany Elementary where "Students Are Number 1." We are very proud
of the heritage and tradition of our school. It is our goal to
offer our students a balance of both academic opportunities and
social experiences to foster well-rounded individuals. Albany
Elementary has high expectations for its students in terms of
achievement and self-control.
We are pleased
with the spirit and cooperation we are shown by our parent group and
community businesses. Each year we have a large number of parent
volunteers that support a variety of programs generated here at
school. As you view the material contained here in our home page,
we welcome you to come in and visit us or call (765-789-6102).
Through the combined efforts of our teachers, staff, and community,
we can accomplish our mission listed below:
"The Albany
Elementary School Family is dedicated to helping every student
develop academically, emotionally, and socially, in a positive and
accepting environment. We are committed to preparing our students
to function as productive citizens who are ready to meet the
challenges of an ever-changing society."
We are proud of
our school. We feel we have one of the finest elementary schools in
all of Indiana. Our students, staff, and community take great pride
in not only our building, but also in the achievements of our
academic offerings. We are dedicated to meeting the individual
needs of the children we serve. Each week brings us the opportunity
to work with young people and make a difference in their lives. I
hope the information contained in our web site has been helpful and
informative. Thank you for visiting Albany Elementary.
