C.A.P.E.

C.A.P.E. is a during and after school program funded by grants from the  Community Foundation, Early Intervention Grant, and Title I.   C.A.P.E. stands for "Community Alliance to Promote Education."  The purpose of C.A.P.E. is to provide assistance to at-risk 1st-3rd graders in the Albany community.  Children receive help with reading, math, and homework from a staff of licensed teachers and instructional assistants.  The C.A.P.E. program also includes state-of-the-art Waterford Early Reading Computers.  1st-3rd grade teachers recommend students for the program.

The Wildcat Club meets Monday and Wednesday each week.  It is for fourth and fifth graders.  The Wildcat Club provides help to those students who are in need of extra homework assistance and some skill remediation.
