Tuesday, January 6: January 6 is a school day for the elementary schools, but not Delta Middle or Delta High Schools.
DHS National Honor Society- The DHS National Honor Society had a number of blankets left over from our sale. NHS still has three blankets to choose from (Albany, DeSoto & Royerton). NHS is discounting the price to $20 for the remaining blankets. If you are interested please contact Amy Lewman at Delta High School.

Home Repair- Eden Church is looking to repair, repaint, weatherize,
and spruce up 100 homes in northern Delaware County in June of 2009.
Elderly, disabled, low-income families and other local residents in need
will have an opportunity to receive free home improvements. Examples of
some improvements would be wheelchair ramps, drywall, wooden steps,
painting, fascia/soffit repair, insulation, porch repair, caulking, and

Make Up Days- Because of the missed school days on December 18 and 19, school will be in session on May 27 and 28.

January 29 NAEP Testing (Fourth Grade)
NAEP Testing- On January 29, 2009 our fourth grade students will be participating in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). This test is known as the “Nation’s Report Card.” Only our fourth graders will be taking this test. More information regarding NAEP is attached to the newsletters of fourth grade students.

Weather- As a reminder in the case of a delay or early dismissal,
Latchkey will NOT be available.
On Two-hour delays, breakfast is not served. We begin serving lunches at 10:45 a.m.
