Kindergarten
Supply List
The
Kindergarten classroom is a child-centered environment where phonics
and hands-on learning are emphasized. Basic reading, math,
science, and social studies skills are learned through group
activities, speakers, videos, computers, and field trips. The
students gain knowledge by song, as well. The days of the
week, the months of the year, the letters of the alphabet, and the
seasons are learned through original songs.

The most important relationship in schools is between the teacher
and the parents. Therefore, the classroom has an open door
policy. Parents are always welcome to come in and help with
parties and special events, as well as coming in to observe.
Fostering a child-centered environment where students are involved
in active learning will enhance the necessary social and academic
skills necessary to ensure a successful academic career.
