Delta athletics looks to continue its excellent
athletic tradition that it has amplified in the last several years,
this upcoming school year. Below is a list of some of the
outstanding facts that were accomplished in recent previous seasons
by Delta Athletes, and lets hope that we have a list at the end of
this year similar to this one.

The
2002-2003 Athletic Teams have continued to put forth the kind
of effort that is now expected at Delta. The Boys and Girls
swimming teams sent many people to the state finals yet again, as
the Gymnastics team advanced as a team to regional and received 5th
place. The team also sent one member to the state
finals. The 2003 Delta Basketball team came off a rebuilding
season compiling a record of 9-14, however the team is all ready
optimistic for next year. The Junior Varsity came out of no
where and went 19-1 on the year, playing a tough schedule. The
Delta Wrestling team had a 14-12 record this year under new Head
Coach Eric Kerkhof, and sent one team member to state.
