The pep band plays at all of the home football games and plays such songs as Gimme Some Lovin', Hip to Be Square, Eye of the Tiger, Jump, All the Small Things, Low Rider, and the Delta Fight Song ®.

They also participate in pep rallies, including the one for semi-state.

All concert band members are required to be in the pep band as part of their co-curricular duties. 

The show band is a volunteer group of very talented band students who take their own time to play at basketball games. Beginning in the 2009-2010 school year, all concert band members will be required to participate in some of the basketball games. This is required as part of their co-curricular band duties. Students who choose to perform at a specified number of the basketball games (more than required) will receive a special pep band award.
