Lisa has been the director of the Delta Energy Dance Team for the past 4 years. While under her direction, the team has won 2 state championships, 5 state runner-up titles and a national championship!

Lisa took on the job of directing the team when the team was in jeopardy of termination. Her daughter Lauren was a member of the Delta dance team and Lisa was currently coaching Muncie Central Centralette dance team. She didn't want to see the Delta program terminated, so she took on coaching Delta's team. That was the 1st year the team competed and won state runner-up in both pom and jazz divisions.

Lisa's love for sports comes from being a dance mom for the past 15 years. Both her daughters have danced competitively at Cole Academy and Premiere Dance Center. Lauren was a 4 year member of the Delta Energy Dance team and is currently 3rd year member of the Ball State Code Red Dance Team. Ashton is a senior on the Delta Energy Dance Team and a member of the senior tap company at Premiere Dance Center.

Lisa has had wonderful assistant coaches over the past 4 years. Currently her daughter Lauren and Delta alum Tiffanie Pence are assisting her with the team. Lauren choreographed the jazz and pom routines this past season. Tiffanie is a wonderful motivator and assists with pom routine strength.

Lisa is a Business Technology teacher at Muncie Central High School. She is married to Pete who is her biggest supporter and cheerleader!
