Delta "Energy" Dance The purpose of the Delta ENERGY Dance Team is to serve as a public relations group, which fosters an attitude of spirit and pride in Delta High School. In providing entertainment for sporting and other community events, the group promotes high self-esteem, fitness, sportsmanship, school spirit and awareness, and strives for development of character leadership and individual responsibility among its members. The Delta Energy Dance team has grown to not only perform at some of the home football and basketball games, but now the team performs at all home football games, and most of the home basketball games and they compete! The Delta Energy Dance team won the 2008 Indiana High School Dance Team Association state championships in novice pom and jazz, and also placed 3rd in hip-hop. The Delta Dance team also participates in 10 hours of community service working with United Way, Gus Macker (Eaton EMT’s), American Cancer Society, The Delaware County Health Fair, Team Work for Quality Living, and the Boys and Girls Club. Delta Dance Team took on the nickname “ENERGY” 3 years ago!
