ANNOUNCEMENTS:       

University of Indianapolis College of Health Sciences Open House:  March 21, 2009,
                    9:00 am - noon, check in at 9:00 am in the lobby of Martin Hall
                    Learn about their Krannert School of Physical Therapy and
                    School of Occupational Therapy.

Purdue University - Women in Engineering Discovery Day
                    A free workshop for current junior female students.  Register by April 10

Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities:  April 24, 2009, Ball State
                    University Alumni Center, 8:30 am check in time, program ends at 3:15 pm.  Career
                    and College program for 8th and 9th graders.  Open to all students, $15 interest inventory
                    fee.  An interest inventory survey with detailed report on career matches, potential college
                    majors, and suggestions for high school course planning.  Ball State University Alumni Center.
                    Free registration and parking.     

Ball State Summer Scholars Program:  June 14-19 or June 21-26 for sophomores, juniors, senors
                    stay in one of the residence halls and experience campus life by attending classes,
                    and being involved with extracurricular activities.  No charge.    See your counselor.

BSU College of Architecture and Planning:  July 12-24, 2009, Summer workshop for current high school
                    juniors.  Intensive immersion into environmental design and problem solving for outstanding

Indiana State University - Summer Honors Program
                    July 26 - August 2 - The academic program for talented high school students 
                    earn one college credit and experience college life - 15 seminars to choose from

                       general scholarship award for the student with financial need
                       based on:  service to school, community, and church

April 6              Arthur D. and Josephine M. Robling Scholarship
                      
Nonrenewable $800 award - for Delaware County students - to be used at
                       college, university, trade school, or technical school - 2.5 GPA

April 13            Everett and Helen Waldo Scholarship
                       A very generous, renewable scholarship awarded to students in need of financial
                       assistance.  Students must attend Ball State University.  Preference
                       given to students from Hamilton Township, Delaware County.

April 14            Albany Tri Kappa Sorority Vocational Scholarship
                      
$500 for student that will attend a vocational or technical school
