Two Eagles Sign for College Football Delta seniors Logan Young and Kegan Morris each signed national letters of intent on Wednesday, Feb. 3 to play football in college on full scholarships. Young signed with Indiana University of the Big Ten, where he will be a receiver. Indiana Head Coach Bill Lynch plans to redshirt Young his freshman year. If that happens, then Young's first game action as a Hoosier could come in the first game of the 2011 season, which would be on Sept. 3, 2011, at Ball State University. Young plans to study business at IU.
Morris signed with University of Saint
Francis in Fort Wayne. He will be
an offensive lineman.
Morris said he hopes to chase a national
NAIA championship. St. Francis,
which reached the national championship
game in 2004, has been in the NAIA Top
25 rankings for 126 consecutive polls,
the longest streak in NAIA. This
streak dates back for a decade.
Morris plans to study business at Saint
Francis.
2009 DHS graduate Darcy Dorton helped
Penn State University win the NCAA

championship on Saturday, Dec. 19.
