Some tips to help in
caring for your child's health needs at school:
- Keep contact information updated in case of
illness or injury at school.
- Become familiar with the medication policy
posted on this site in the event that your child may need to have
medication administered at school.
- Become familiar with the school attendance
policy and use Power School to more closely monitor attendance.
Excessive absences may indicate an illness that requires a thorough
medical examination.
- Encourage good hand washing and the practice
of sneezing and coughing into a sleeve of the shirt at the elbow.
This will prevent the spread of germs.
- Students should be without a fever for 24
hours before returning to school and should no longer have vomiting
or diarrhea.
