DELTA MIDDLE SCHOOL COMPUTER LAB

Mr. Perdue’s Classroom Expectations:

  1. Be in your seat when the bell rings. Failure to do so will result in a tardy.

  1. Come to class prepared to work. Bring all the supplies needed for the class.

  1. All work will be turned in on time! Late assignments will be handled according to handbook policies. ONCE GRADED WORK IS RETURNED, LATE WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

  1. Classroom discussions and interactions will be a vital part in my classroom. As you participate, please be COURTEOUS and RAISE YOUR HAND when you would like to provide input. Do not interrupt anyone when they are speaking.

  1. No candy, food, gum, or drinks in the classroom.

  1. Students are not to mess with the computers in anyway. If you have a question then you need to raise your hand.

  1. Students are expected to be attentive during announcements and for any other information being given.

  1. DO NOT LOG IN UNTIL I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE GO AHEAD!

  1. Attendance is a crucial factor to being successful. In my class, attendance is critical! Due to the nature of the course, it’s essential that students be in the classroom for “hands-on” learning.

  1. Absolutely no marking should be made in, or on, any of the textbooks, desks, or chairs!

  1. Respect all others in the classroom.

  1. Appropriate language will be used while in my classroom. Foul language is totally unacceptable.

  1. Any students found cheating on an assignment will be given a zero for that assignment.

  1. Any abuse of the computer equipment will automatically result in the student being sent to the administration.

Grades:

A midterm grade report will be sent home during the 5th week of each grading term. Students who are receiving a failing grade (F) at that time are required to return the midterm to Mr. Perdue with a parent/guardian signature.

Grades will be assigned for the nine weeks using the following percentages:
