Booster Club Meeting Minutes

November 4, 2008

Meeting called to order by Mr. Harmon, Principal.

In Attendance: Mr. Harmon, Melissa Glidden, Brenda Cribbs, Tracy Fenwick, Linda Zimmerman,

            Brandee Richardson, Angie Jetmore, Tamara Meacham

Treasurer’s Report – Kelli Bales

            Treasurer’s report checkbook balance $10,063.40

            Expense for teacher professional day lunch

Bookstore – Kim Hapner

            Bookstore will be open during parent lunches    

            Money from bookstore is used to help kids fund field trips

Teacher Appreciation

            Teacher professional day lunch was very nice           

            Christmas party December 19 Texas Roadhouse will donate lunch for staff

Special Events

Book Fair-       Week of November 10^th         

Parent for lunch-November 11^th for 6^th grade at 12:20pm

                         November 12^th for 7^th grade at 12:20pm

                         November 13^th for 8^th grade at 12:20pm  

Terra Nova -      November 18^th for 7^th graders all day testing

            Reality Store -   A big success

            ISTEP-                         Spring 2009

            Career Day –     May 15, 2009 Guest speaker suggestions include Matt Painter, Bill Lynch,                           Wil Davis 

            8^th Field Day-    Date to be announced

Principal’s Report – Mr. Harmon

Fundraiser- We reached our goal of $13,000 profit. Thank you to Nancy Zachary and Malea

for all their help.  Pick-up on November 19^th from 3-6pm Suggestion to have Honor Society

students help pass out product.

Box Tops- Thank you to Angela Decker with National Honor Society for taking on this project.  The money will go to 8^th grade class as they move on to high school
