About Eaton Elementary School

In 1971 Eaton Elementary was built as an open-concept building. Extensively remodeled in 1992, all classrooms were enclosed and energy efficient features were installed. Structural updates have continued with the addition of air conditioning and internal wiring for technology.

Our teacher-to-student ratio is approximately 1 to 20. We have 2 sections of all grades, with the exception of first grade, which has 3 sections at this time.

In addition to a well-rounded curriculum offered at all of the corporation elementary schools, Eaton Elementary offers the following:

  • Reading Recovery for first grade students with reading difficulties
  • Full time classroom for MIMH students
  • Services for students with Learning Disabilities
  • Title 1 services for language arts instruction

  • A state-of-the-art computer lab with full internet access
