I continue to be proud of the hard work and accomplishments of our students and staff.  Not only are students developing their skills in the classroom but they are participating in activities outside the classroom that allow them to learn and mature.  Fifth grade students are doing an outstanding job running the television studio announcements with assistance from the fourth graders in the meteorology club.  Many talented fourth and fifth graders recently entertained us with a musical while others represented Eaton at a spell bowl competition. Twenty students in first through fifth grade travel to Ball State after school on Mondays to participate in College Mentors for Kids.  Choir, student council, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and our new fitness club are some of the other opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom.  These and other extra-curricular activities enhance the education students are receiving at Eaton Elementary.
