Eaton Elementary Kindergarten
Welcome to Kindergarten at Eaton Elementary!
The overall goal of kindergarten is the development of each child
socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. It is a time for
your child to discover the excitement and joy of learning.
We will work on social skills, emergent literacy skills, (pre-reading
skills), and math readiness skills. Science and Social Studies units are
also introduced in the kindergarten curriculum.
Parents are always welcome to visit our kindergarten classroom. If your
schedule permits, we love to have parents volunteer in our classroom on a
weekly basis. Parents are also needed for class parties, field trips, and
to assist with special projects.
At Eaton Elementary we strive to establish the best possible learning environment for our students. With teamwork among parents, teachers and students we know we will have a positive kindergarten experience.
