Eaton Elementary Nurse

The health of our students at Eaton Elementary is very important to us . We have a registered nurse, Mrs. Maxwell, staffing our 2 bed clinic from 8:00 am-2:30 pm each day. We maintain records of student health concerns, so that we can provide optimum care to our students. We provide vision, dental, and scoliosis screenings during the course of the elementary years, which can alert us to the need for further evaluation and treatment. Immunization records are maintained and must be in compliance with state law.

Medications may be administered at school, but must be in the original container and accompanied with a note of permission from the parent or guardian.  

 We appreciate the assistance of our parents in keeping us informed of their child's health status and needs, and in their efforts to help us to promote a healthy environment here at school. 

Of course a large and most rewarding part of the school nurse's day is taking care of minor injuries and illnesses; offering comfort and TLC!
