Eaton Elementary PTO Minutes

December 3^rd 2007

Attendants- Heather Melton, Kari Anne King, Kim Hart-Paxson, Troy and Dianne Watters, Jessica Hicks, Kathy Hottinger, Angela Decker, Nicki Gillis and Tisha Stone.

Meeting called to order by Heather Melton and 7:00pm.

Minutes read by Jessica Hicks. No changes were made. 1st to motion was Kathy Hottinger, 2^nd to motion was Kari King.

Tisha Stone read treasures report. The total for Saturday with Santa was changed from $404.73 to $468.29. 1^st to motion was Jessica Hicks, 2^nd to motion Heather Melton.

Unfinished Business

Ÿ The final copies of by-laws were handed out and posted on-line.

Ÿ It was voted and passed to have Longaberger Basket Bingo February 23^rd.Kim Hart-Paxson is the chairperson of the event.

Ÿ Saturday with Santa profit this year was $468.29. Last year it was $313.56.

Ÿ Santa Shop was set up and there was a walk through to show the items available this year. Kari King is the chairperson of this event.

Ÿ A carry in for the staff chaired by Angela Decker will be held December 12^th also being the Celebration Day for Eaton Elementary for being a Title 1 School!

New Business

Ÿ Eaton/Delta wear is being postponed for sale until 2008.

Ÿ Jessica Hicks made a motion and Kari King was 2^nd to motion to prepare and sell 08/09 spirit wear earlier and at all school events. It was tabled until the next meeting.
