Unfinished Business
·
The Norseman for the entry way
mat is being designed using the original Norseman with a few modifications to
fit the mat. We hope to have a proof to view soon!
·
Spirit wear is approximately
$500 profit at this point! PTO is purchasing a zip drive to save all
information for this and all other PTO documents.
·
Santa Shop is set to go, all
items were ordered from Kip this year.
·
Saturday with Santa plans are
going well. A $50 visa is going to be raffled off. Cookies have been ordered
form the cafeteria and hot chocolate from Starbucks! This year the pictures
with Santa will be processed at Walgreen’s and given to the kids at a later
time.
·
Baskets for basket bingo will be
ordered in January when they are on sale. Kim Hart–Paxson also offered to
donate the profits of the baskets she orders back to the PTO. Thanks Kim! She
is also chairperson of this event and needs lots of help! If you can help,
please contact her.
·
Daddy’s Sweetheart Ball is new
this year. Heather Melton and Dawn Bailey are in charge of this event. It will
take place in February. Dawn is going to contact Millers Flowers and get some
information. Other ideas for this event are pictures, cookies and punch as well
as pre-pay tickets for the girls. Dads are free.
New Business
·
Promote the PTO meetings! In the
meeting reminders add that the kids get a Bee card when their parents come to
the meeting. Also get the kids to come; there is always a babysitter and
planned activities. Ideas are to have a class competition to see haw many
parents come to the meetings or to have a party in March for the kids to entice
a larger crowd!
Meeting adjourned by Heather Melton at
7:28pm.
Recorded and respectfully submitted by
Jessica Hicks.
