Eaton Elementary PTO Meeting Minutes

November 1^st, 2007

Attendants-Kristy Swoveland, Tisha Stone, Kathy Hottinger, Kim Hart-Paxson, Kari King, Jessica Hicks, Heather Melton, Teresa Schwer, Michelle Beaty, and Niki Gillis

Meeting Called to order by Kristy Swoveland at 7:02 pm

Minutes read by Jessica Hicks-No changes were made. 1^st to motion was Heather Melton, 2^nd to motion was Kathy Hottinger. Voted on and approved.

Treasure’s report read by Tisha Stone- No changes were made. 1^st to motion was Heather Melton, 2^nd to motion was Kathy Hottinger. Voted and approved.

Unfinished Business

· Chair groups were reviewed; calendars will not be made this year due to conflict of time. Other questions were held until after the meeting.

· Proposed changes to the Constitution and By-laws were read by Kathy Hottinger a few changes were made and voted on to pass the proposed changes. Kathy Hottinger was 1^st to motion Kari King was 2^nd to motion.

· A reimbursement was made to Heather Melton for the ice cream party held for Mrs. Carter’s Class. They brought in the highest percentage of profit for the donation dinner held as this year’s fundraiser.

New Business

· Saturday with Santa Profit was discussed and voted on to be given to the kindergarten classes. 1^st to motion was Kim Hart-Paxson 2^nd to motion was Kari King.

· Calendars will not be made this year due to time restraints.

· Babysitting fees will be $15.00 per meeting only held at Eaton Elementary. A list of babysitters is being made for back up. 1^st to motion was Heather Melton, 2^nd to motion was Jessica Hicks.

· Kim Hart-Paxson made a motion for basket bingo. Niki Gillis 2^nd the motion. It was briefly discussed and then Tabled until the next meeting. Kim volunteered to be the chairperson of the event when it is held.
