Title I Services Title I is a federally funded Program intended to help at-risk students achieve success in the areas of reading, writing and math. It is an in-class or pull out program (as needed), to give students supplemental instruction. Eaton Elementary has four Instructional Assistants who work with teacher recommended students, grades K-5, for approximately thirty minutes a day and usually five days a week. The goal is to provide the targeted students with more individualized attention to their needs while building self-esteem and confidence. All supplemental tools such as literary activities, guided reading groups and technology are used. Family involvement is another important aspect of the Title I program. Activities are offered throughout the school year. Title I Open House occurs in the fall combining Title I families from both Eaton and Albany Elementary. Family Activity Nights (known as F.A.N. nights) are held twice a year. One is held in the winter and the other in the spring. Title I also tries to provide at least one parent fair or parent conference for parents to attend if they are able. Eaton Title I Staff:
