Eaton Elementary Fourth Grade

Our curriculum is challenging for all students. We begin the year by offering preparation sessions for the ISTEP tests. The students receive grades every nine weeks including at midterm. These grades can also be accessed by the parents on the internet web site using the PowerSchool program.

There are a few things that make fourth grade unique:

  • Indiana History is the basis of our social studies curriculum
  • Flag duty is the students' daily responsibility
  • BAT (Basic Aid Training) is taught along with our school nurse
  • Our field trip in the spring is to Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis along with our art teacher and librarian

There are also many other extra curricular activities available and shared with the 5th grade:

  • Choir
  • Student Council
  • TV studio
  • Spelling Bee
  • Math Bowl
  • Spell Bowl
  • Meteorology Club

It is our goal to make 4th grade both exciting and rewarding. We believe that with parent help, children can reach their full educational and social potential.
