1.       Book bag – to be carried by your child to school every day.  Please, no back packs until later when your child can manage it.  A large bag with handles that is easy to get things in and out of is best.  (No folders)

2.       Scissors – either blunt or pointed. 

3.       Glue – Elmer’s Washable White Glue – 4 oz. Bottle.  No gel, please.

4.  2 Glue Sticks - Elmer's

5.  Prang  or Crayola Water Color Paint Set – it has been found that the other brands do not have the intensity of color.

6.  Dry Erase Markers - package

7.  Paint Shirt – Mom or Dad’s old shirt works best.  Be sure to send one that covers your child’s clothing.

8.  Half-gallon juice carton to contain paint shirt.  You cut off the top of the carton where it is creased and is bent at the top.  Most like to cover this with contact paper for easy identification.

9.  Small vegetable can covered with contact paper.  (This will be used for a “tool can” to hold crayons, pencils, scissors, etc.)

10.  2 Boxes of tissue for the class to use. (200 count)

11.  Crayola Erasable Colored Pencils.

12.  Container of Clorox wipes (100 count) - Boys Only.

13.  Hand Sanitizer (32 oz) - Girls Only

14.  Weekly Reader - $5.50, please send in envelope to the teacher.  Checks payable to Royerton Elementary.

15.  Play-Doh – 4 can pack (Mrs. Carmichael’s class only).

16.  Ziplock Bags – Sandwich size (Mrs. Gardner’s class only).

17.  Post-it Notes - Multiple pack of 1 1/2 x 2 (Mrs. Green’s class only).

18.  Post-it Notes - Multiple pack of 3 x 3  (Mrs. Huber’s class only).

Crayons, pencils, and paper will be provided.  Later on in the year many children like to replace the crayons.  Please do not send pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, or anything else that is not on the list.  We do not have a lot of extra room inside the cubbies.
