Lance Engle – Mr. Engle informed everyone he attended the band and choir concert last week and it continues to impress him year after year.  He stated he counted around 100 high school choir students and over 100 band members and with middle school and elementary students, you could probably multiply that by two.  He commented the music arts in our corporation are very healthy and it’s a credit to our leaders.  He stated they have put together one of the best top-notch programs in this area.  He stated the kids sounded great and both band and choir did very well.  He commented it was a great night for DelCom to showcase our music programs.  He informed everyone he also attended the regional basketball game Saturday night and congratulated the boys for what a great game they played.  He stated coach Detweiler had a great game plan and the way the team came together and played was awesome.  He thanked the community for showing up like they do and it amazes him how many people show up to support the team.  He wished them good luck at semi-state this weekend.  He commented it’s a great time to be a part of DelCom with the great winter sports season we have had.  He thanked the retirees for their service and the time they served at DelCom and wished them the best.

David Grasso – Dr. Grasso concurred with his fellow board member.  He congratulated the elementaries on the results of IREAD and stated it’s nice to hear those kinds of numbers.  He informed everyone he attended the Ball State women’s basketball game while they were on spring break and the Delta High School band performed for them.  He commented they sounded just as great as the Ball State Pep Band and it was a great environment.  He stated there are a lot of positive things going on.

John Adams – Mr. Adams concurred with his fellow board members.  He congratulated the boys’ basketball team on winning Regionals and to everything else going on around the corporation.  He stated the numbers for IREAD testing are good to hear.  He appreciates all the time and effort that went into that to get the kids prepared.  He wished the retirees well and stated we all want to get to that point where some day you get to walk away.  He stated the band students have earned the Kings Island Trip and hopes they have fun.  He thanked the Timmerman’s for their donation and commented it means a lot.
