Alice Gillis – Ms. Gillis congratulated all new hires.  She hopes they have a successful career with DelCom and hopes for many successful seasons with Mr. Detweiler.  She thanked the two high school National Honor Society girls who helped with the banquet Saturday night at Eaton.  She stated they were a giant help and Mr. Kile’s two little guys helped as well.  She said it was good to see the high school girls out there and she appreciates it.

Tyce Stebbins – Mr. Stebbins welcomed new hires and hopes they enjoy DelCom as much as he does because we have something special here.  He said nothing against the teaching positions, but he thinks people are really excited about the basketball program and the community is eagerly anticipating our new hire.  He’s sure Mr. Marshall and Mr. Kile got some great people as well and we are looking forward to having them here and part of the team.  He stated if he can’t make it to the Retirement Breakfast Friday, pass along praise to those individuals and he hopes commencement goes really well.

Adam Williams – Mr. Williams welcomed new hires and thanked them for choosing DelCom.

John Adams – Mr. Adams concurred with his fellow board members and welcomed all new hires. He stated it’s exciting to bring new people into the family and let them experience what some of the old timers have who have been at DelCom for a long time.  He welcomed them aboard and thanked them for choosing us.  He welcomed Mr. Detweiler and is looking for great things from him.  He stated they have a mutual friend Brett Ross.  He’s heard nothing but great things and said as Mr. Stebbins mentioned, our community is excited about bringing Mr. Detweiler on board and seeing what the team can do this next year.  He wished him all the luck in the world.  Mr. Adams commended the committee for the job they did.  He stated it’s not easy.  They have to take a pool of candidates, look at all the information, make calls, etc., and anytime you are doing something like that it takes extra effort.  He applauded them for the extra effort they did and for the search committee to go through that process.  He stated there’s extra time involved, away from your family, and he greatly appreciates it.  He thanked Mr. Conley and all others on the committee.

Trent Fox – Mr. Fox congratulated all new hires and is looking forward to the things they will bring to the table for our students and what they can learn in and out of the classroom.  He stated we are always excited to bring in new people and he’s definitely looking forward to that.  He informed everyone Mr. Detweiler knows his brother, Jeff.  He said his brother sent him something earlier stating he heard the news so the word is already out.
