BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS
John Adams – Mr. Adams thanked Mr. Mayol, Mr. Stebbins, Mr. Parrott, and everyone who worked hard on the Albany project. He stated he greatly appreciates it and he’s glad to get it off the ground. He commented it’s well deserved for the Albany community and sends a message that Albany is going to be there for a long time.
Jacob Case – Mr. Case thanked the contractors for all their bids and was glad there was more than just one. He thanked Pridemark for being low and stated they are local so that is good. He hopes everything goes smooth. He reminded everyone the bridge towards Albany is closing April 9th and they are working on the roads in Albany so avoid the main drag.
Valerie Alexander – Ms. Alexander is excited to see the project getting started and see the hard work from everyone. She thanked the Albany staff in advance for the sacrifices they are making and their patience for getting that moving, but it will be a good end goal.
Lance Engle – Mr. Engle thanked Mr. Mayol, Mr. Stebbins, Mr. Parrott, Mr. Kile, and everyone involved in getting the bids for this project. He knows it was a tough one this time. He stated there were a lot of sacrifices and it wasn’t easy with a lot of back and forth calls. He appreciates everyone’s hard work and he’s glad we can get this off the ground. He thanked Pridemark and is looking forward to it.
